The truth is a cave in the Black Mountains

Again, it’s the Folio Society’s BIA 24: I entered a piece for Neil Gaiman’s intricate short story about revenge, justice, myth and the Jacobite highlands, and it turned out to be one of the five runners up. So, I call it a win!

Graphic designer, draftsman, painter, sculptor, illustrator etc, who never forgets that he’s still a graphic designer after all.
Reared in the west german industrial towns of the seventies in the days of grey laundry and belching chimneys. After an academic encounter with english and german literature at the Ruhruniversität Bochum, he followed the call to the secret mysteries of art and design at the FH Dortmund. Following graduation, he went into employment as a designer in Hamburg and subsequently changed to freelancing in 2001, specializing in graphic design and illustration.
He lives in the Ruhrgebiet again, where one can better focus on work and is busy with art and client work.

Designer, Zeichner, Maler, Bildhauer, Illustrator usw. der nie vergißt, daß er eigentlich immer noch ein Designer ist.
Aufgewachsen im Ruhrgebiet der Siebziger zu Zeiten der grauen Wäsche und rauchenden Schlote. Studium der Anglistik und Germanistik an der Ruhruniversität Bochum. Als Halbanglist und Viertelgermanist Wechsel zu den Mysterien des FB Design an der Fachhochschule Dortmund. Nach dem Diplom Arbeit als angestellter Designer in Hamburg, seit 2001 selbstständig als Designer und Illustrator.
Wohnt mittlerweile wieder im Ruhrgebiet, wo man in Ruhe arbeiten kann.
